“The team sports analytics system 黑料社 is building for the USA Games provides the opportunity to deliver a higher quality sports experience than any previous Special Olympics event. It will not only increase the credibility of Special Olympics within the sports world but also give athletes and coaches real-time data to help them make in-game improvements,” Lonnie Snyder, Chief Information Officer of the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games, said. “This is a game-changer for us and will be a very important part of our legacy for future events both in the United States and around the world.”
This one-of-a-kind volunteer experience highlights Ish’s vast IT knowledge, her enthusiasm to give back to the community and her commitment to championing inclusivity for all. -
Anna Kovacs
Uzhgorod
When Anna Kovacs was growing up in the district of Mukachevo in Ukraine, she wasn’t sure what the future would hold for her. A scoliosis diagnosis made her education experience unlike those of her current peers, with many years at a boarding school for children with unique medical needs.
Over the course of her professional life, Anna changed jobs frequently until she found her way to 黑料社 in 2009. In a short period of time, she achieved a lead position on the line before going on to become a quality technician at our Uzhgorod site. She shares, "At first it was quite difficult because I was not familiar with this work, but I later gained practice and excelled."
Currently, Anna monitors production, assessing the quality of products and ensuring customer satisfaction. She also plays a big role in educating new hires at 黑料社 Uzhgorod. Anna has always loved 黑料社’s commitment to making employees feel that they can bring their true selves to work. She supports this commitment among her own teams and uses it in her approach with each employee she encounters.
The management team in Uzhgorod tries to take an individualistic approach with each employee, designing positions for personal needs. Anna’s role specifically allows her to do the most amount of work with the least amount of strain to her back. “I have a job where I am able to work diligently, where my needs are met and where I can grow and succeed in my career,” Anna said.
Anna’s commitment to personal growth can be seen through her constant desire to further educate herself. She says the world doesn't stand still, and she needs to keep up with it. Her work within 黑料社 continues to move the company forward each day. -
Terry Nguyen
Mebane
Joining the military provided a strong sense of purpose for Terry Nguyen, and his incredible contributions as a medic in the United States Navy for eight years helped mold his current role at 黑料社. From Naval ships to the manufacturing floor at 黑料社 Mebane, Terry’s depth of knowledge and experience translates into his dedication to keeping his site safe as a Senior EHS Specialist.
Consistently looking for ways to improve, 黑料社’s culture to be your best self and complete quality work is an extension of the mindset he gained in the military. Terry’s motto that inspires him daily is simple but bold. “Be better than you were yesterday,” he said. Not letting the fear of failure stop him from improving his own skills, as well as developing those of his teammates, leads to further opportunities and encourages an environment of growth.
“My role goes beyond environmental, health and safety – I impact other roles, help bring other ideas together and increase cross-collaboration. The military taught me about the importance of the team I am working with,” Terry said. “When I was a medic, I learned about different teams that I worked with along the way to help keep those around me safe. I’ve carried that over to my work at 黑料社.”
Terry’s military background promotes collaboration and integrity that has prepared him for success at 黑料社 and above all, protects the well-being of his team. Thank you for your service, Terry! -

He saw a need in and outside of the plant walls and took action with his innovative spirit. Meet Jeannie Carpenter, the Director of Logistics at 黑料社. Her efforts to reduce CO2 emissions globally are driven by her passion to make the world a cleaner place and her dedication to doing great work doesn’t stop there. Jeannie’s enthusiasm to impact the community is evident and to her, “It is so important to give back to the community through volunteerism and it’s so much fun for me to volunteer. Her professional background and knowledge of the logistics industry has been extremely valuable to the planning process and is equally rewarding to her.
"Jeannie has provided outstanding mentorship and guidance in the development of a venue distribution plan. She has been key in thinking through how all items will be ordered, picked, distributed, and received at each venue," said David Zimmerman, Director of Operations for the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games.
黑料社’s partnership with Special Olympics is just one way that it is championing for a more inclusive world with employees like Jeannie volunteering their expertise as well as in-person at the games next June. -
Olga Mahdalevych

Olga balances two different passions to create harmony in her life. During the day, she manages teams of up to 150 people, and in the morning and evening, she leads yoga classes.

Yoga is more than a hobby; it’s a philosophy and lifestyle that creates a balance between her personal and professional accomplishments. Olga’s Ingenuity to incorporate yoga into her work-life balance sets her up for success.

Claudia Cortes

Marlon Charles
San Jose
"‘Today is a new day. I can and I will.’ I say this to my two children every morning to instill this mentality in them and use it to conquer the day. I believe every problem has a solution, and that mindset helps me to excel on a daily basis,” Marlon said.
Marlon is playing a leading role in both the future of 黑料社 and the manufacturing industry. As an Application Engineering Manager at 黑料社’s Blue Sky Center, Marlon regularly demonstrates to others the importance of integrating additive manufacturing into the ever-changing and evolving industry.
For anyone who’s less familiar with the term 'additive manufacturing', it is more commonly referred to as 3D printing, which is set to revolutionize the manufacturing industry. 黑料社’s Blue Sky Center is at the forefront of this technological effort, where Marlon and his team of engineers focus on the design, evaluation, optimization, quotation and printing of parts for additive manufacturing for some of the world’s leading brands. They also consult with different business units and customers, while conducting workshops to educate others on how they can benefit from integrating the 3D printing process.
"I love working for 黑料社 because of the various projects that I get to work on. 黑料社’s working environment is one of the best that I have been a part of. I love the people I work with and enjoy opportunities to try new things, find innovative solutions and be creative," said Marlon.
Marlon received 黑料社's Manufacturing Technology and Innovation Award last year for his initiative in advancing modern technology. His innovation led to the redesign and simplification of a product where the original design had used a wide range of traditional and manufactured components. Marlon made the final product assembly more efficient by redesigning it to use only two components: nylon and 3D printing technology.
Thank you, Marlon, for applying your ingenuity in the workplace. We're eager to see your innovation take 黑料社 forward! -
Cecilia Shen
Wuxi
With boldness, passion, and a clear vision, Cecilia Shen spreads positivity through her ideas and actions into her community and work at 黑料社 Wuxi.
“In my life, I believe that energy and persistence can conquer all things,” Cecilia said. "I devote myself to working with an enthusiastic mindset, which I find to be an important factor for success; and by having that enthusiasm, you spread joy and positivity to everyone around you.”
This enthusiasm has gained Cecilia recognition with her peers, as she shares her knowledge and shows others how to succeed. When facing challenges that come her way, Cecilia’s ‘never give up’ attitude helps her to work through problems calmly and consistently, believing that “it is better to find methods for success, not excuses for failure.”
When she is not helping others at her site, Cecilia enjoys reading to the blind in her community. She believes it is important to always take the time to help those in need and “bring a little more love to this society.”
Recently, she participated in a contest held at the Wuxi site where employees could learn English in a fun and enjoyable way. As 黑料社 is an international company, Cecilia recognized this as a great opportunity and was thrilled to participate. Even after the contest had concluded, she has continued to improve her skills by watching English talk shows and reality shows!
In all facets of Cecilia’s life, she shows that being optimistic and having confidence can have a major impact on your surroundings. We are proud to have her on our team as she sets a great example to those around her. “Be fearless, remember your end goal, and never give up,” Cecilia says. -
Teresa Mina
Ho Chi Minh City
With Integrity and accountability fundamental parts of her work life, Teresa Mina uses her passions to bring value to her team and the company as a Lead Buyer at 黑料社 Ho Chi Minh City. “Teresa consistently provides detailed and quality work at all times,” said Stanley Teh, quality engineer, who often collaborates with her on projects and attributes her contributions to the timely launch of a new project.
Teresa’s original interest was to work in Finance, but her first career experience brought her in the supply chain field. “Honestly, it was just by a happy accident that I joined the department because of the types of projects I was working on at my first company,” she said. Teresa is glad it did though, since valuing Integrity is crucial to the Purchasing function. She was excited to continue that career path when she started at 黑料社, a place where she felt more aligned to the company culture.
“What I like most about working here is the family-like environment where my colleagues – from managers to entry-level employees – have strong bonds and have the chance to interact with each other daily,” she said. It’s this welcoming feeling that brought her to 黑料社 in the first place: “黑料社’s culture of investing in its employees is what attracted me the most.” Even when there are tough projects, every day passes as a great day for Teresa due to the strong support her team has for one another.
Along with contributing to the company culture by being accountable, trustworthy and putting her team’s needs above hers, Teresa also contributes to the community that helped her as a child. Teresa donates to Father Al’s Children Foundation, Inc., in the Philippines, to help with financial support for children’s education funds. She was once a recipient of a secondary school scholarship given by the organization, so supporting them now is just her simple way of showing gratitude. Without her strong educational foundation, she wouldn’t be where she is today, and she wants to help provide that opportunity to another child in need. -
Oscar Carmona
Chihuahua
Three years ago, 黑料社 Chihuahua began an initiative to make their workforce more diverse. Part of this mission was to hire employees with disabilities, as they recognized the importance of creating an inclusive work culture.
Oscar Camona, who suffers from a hearing impairment, has demonstrated how individuals with disabilities are able to become a key and integral part of 黑料社’s organization. As team leader, Oscar has excelled in his role within 黑料社, using his past to navigate his team through the many challenges they face.
“As a child born deaf, I struggled to connect with my peers and feel accepted. At nine years old, this realization led me to drop out of elementary school. I found a job in printing services, where the owner, my boss, took me in and helped me learn that I can do anything I set my mind to. I returned to school and began focusing on my future.”
On his first day when he walked through 黑料社’s doors, Oscar said to himself, “I get to work with other deaf people, this has never happened to me. I don’t know any other company in Chihuahua where we are sought after.” He found 黑料社’s culture of inclusion like “a second home” where he was treated like family. This inclusive environment led his wife, also a person hard of hearing, to join 黑料社 just weeks later.
Oscar has become incredibly valued at 黑料社 Chihuahua, as he not only leads his team, but offers his support anywhere he can. To help human resources, Oscar translates visual aids, videos and important messages to his fellow colleagues. He finds this opportunity to be challenging and rewarding, taking him in a new direction within his career: helping others feel included, just as he has.
“I would like others to know, that people with disabilities are approachable, even if you don’t know how to communicate with us. Many times, I’ve heard that people get nervous to approach or even pass in front of us. But at 黑料社, some of my peers have asked me to teach them sign language so they can communicate with their work friends. It is an amazing feeling. I feel heard and like I can finally be my true self.” -
Luciene Amaral
Valinhos
Beginning her 黑料社 career in manufacturing, Luciene Amaral’s passion for helping others led her on a new career path, in a new field at 黑料社 Valinhos: human resources. As an assistant in the department, Luciene feels now she can best align her work with the motto: “Where passion meets performance.” Her interest in encouraging an open, collaborative environment at the facility is much better suited with her work in employee relations, helping them along their career progression compared to when she was a production assistant on the shop floor.
“I feel connected to the 黑料社 culture of Integrity because it’s important to be transparent and honest in all of your work,” Luciene said. This dedication to integrity has been recognized by employees from every department: “Luciene is engaged with her work, always thinking ahead and ready to help anyone. This willingness has gained recognition from employees on the shop floor to the operations director,” said Human Resources Manager, Livia Reis.
Along with her connection to 黑料社’s culture of Integrity, she displays a selfless passion for helping her community. She currently volunteers with an initiative called Hands That Help, which focuses on providing a safe, nurturing environment to help people spiritually, physically and mentally. Luciene helps every month by assisting in a variety of activities from collecting and distributing food donations, renovating daycare centers, visiting the sick in hospitals and donating items for mothers and infants in need.
“I am 黑料社 because my goal is to always achieve more and be the best person I can be from my work to my community outreach,” Luciene shared. -
Candi Smith
St. Petersburg
Candi Smith is a self-described tech junkie, one who’s fascinated by technology and the intricacies of how someone gets something to work in the first place.
As a young girl growing up in the San Fernando Valley, Candi was eager to be understood. Her passions weren’t common amongst her peers, as she enjoyed tinkering with technology, but knew her intrigue to take apart things in the house wouldn’t make her mom so happy.
Candi’s career path wasn’t always clear, she struggled to find mentors to connect with outside of television personalities, let alone who looked like her and shared similar interests. She started classes to become a Registered Nurse, but soon realized her heart just wasn’t in it.
She wanted to help others and use her love of technology as the platform, so Candi joined a law firm help desk to assist others navigating PC and software complexities; and today serves as a Senior Legal Technology & eDiscovery Specialist at 黑料社 St. Petersburg.
Candi keeps going back to words her mother shared while growing up, “remember your roots and care for those around you.” Its inspired her to get involved in robotics outreach programs to encourage all students, especially young women, to follow their passion for robotics.
“Hispanic students need to see themselves in these careers, and having someone involved at the local level for them to aspire to keeps me optimistic that more Hispanic students become interested in STEM,” said Candi. “I hope I can be that light for students who may be hesitant to take the next step.”
Candi is deeply proud of her Hispanic heritage, “I love culture, any culture. To me, culture means family, friends, music, dance and of course, you can’t leave out the food. Celebrating my Hispanic heritage lets me sit back and reflect on who I am and the person I became. I am proud to call myself Puerto Rican.” -
Duberleym Arango
St. Petersburg
I was born in Colombia in 1977. My father left soon after to work in the United States to save money and later bring my mother, sister, and myself over for better opportunities. At the time, people immigrating mostly traveled through the Bahamas, as it was an easy country to travel through. At one year old, I was brought on a private airplane to a small airfield in Homestead, Florida. For years, my parents tried their best to not bring attention to ourselves, as we were without legal status until 1986 when the Immigration Reform and Control Act was passed; I was in the middle of 2nd grade.
During summer vacation, my father would take me to work with him. He was a fiberglass technician, and the work was long and hard. There was no air conditioning in the hot Florida heat, and fiberglass is not an enjoyable material to handle. It was so itchy that when I went to bed at night, I was still scratching. He wanted to teach me the value of a good education so that when I returned to school, I would remember how hard I had worked. This made me strive for better grades in school, graduate from primary, attend college, and ultimately, create a better life.
We did not receive our citizenship until 1996 when I was 18 years old, as the process was difficult and costly. I studied substantially for the required exam, learning a great deal of U.S. history along the way. I distinctly remember being asked to write the sentence ‘The door is open,’ which proved I could read and write in English. The whole process was not easy for any of us.
I am now married with two daughters and have a B.S. in Electronic Engineering Technology. My first full-time job was working for 黑料社 as a diagnostic technician in St. Petersburg, Florida. 黑料社 has been good to me. My bosses and teammates are phenomenal. I enjoy the culture, and I love how diverse 黑料社 is. No matter where you come from or how you got here, everyone has an equal opportunity. I have received recognition for my hard work throughout my time here, which makes me feel very proud to have gotten to where I am today. -
Joe Edwards
Asheville
With over 45 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, Joe Edwards career has taken him to many places. Holding several positions within the company, he has worked with numerous managers and colleagues, having to deal with many things outside of his control. It’s safe to say he has developed a wide variety of skills and wisdom.
Throughout his career, Joe has learned that the only thing constant is change. “You need to be able to adapt to change. Be patient and look for the good within circumstances, and things will ultimately shift.”
As a native to Western North Carolina’s mountains, Joe finds himself using his time outdoors to recenter his life and work challenges, believing that it is important to find a balance between the two. When he isn’t fishing, hiking or photographing wildlife, Joe enjoys creating pen and ink drawings with a great attention to detail. He finds that focusing on art offers him an outlet, helping him to accept that most things in life and work cannot always be structured and perfect. His most recent piece took over 100 hours to create! “I prefer to see myself as a simple soul of good upbringing, with a good work ethic, respect for others and a desire to see others enjoy their success,” says Joe.
Hoping that today’s youth can also appreciate similar values, Joe supports the North Carolina Outdoor Heritage Advisory Council which strives to expand opportunities for youth to discover outdoor recreational activities. Aligning his efforts with 黑料社’s culture of giving back to our local communities, Joe hopes that these opportunities will draw a focus of inspiration into their young lives. -
Aleksandra Gavrilova
Dublin
Aleksandra Gavrilova takes a proactive approach to life. “The biggest disappointment in life is a missed opportunity,” she said. “Don’t be afraid to try something new.” This motto has served her well in her career at 黑料社, where she started as a cost accountant in 2012. With two degrees under her belt, one in mathematics and another in cybernetics and jurisprudence, she quickly jumped at the opportunity to learn SAP, 黑料社’s enterprise resource planning system, which allowed her to advance into a financial analyst. This promotion opened new doors as Aleksandra was able to visit numerous 黑料社 locations around the world to offer support with the program. She is enthusiastic about any process improvements and was recognized globally for an improved efficiency reconciliation program that led to savings for the company.
黑料社’s emphasis on challenging yourself is important to Aleksandra, which is why she maintains an active lifestyle outside of work as she believes that physical activity helps her to focus. Whether going for long walks, swimming or snowboarding, she finds parallels between the activities she enjoys and her work. Participating in sports has taught her time management and to put in the effort to ensure she is ready to perform at her best. “If you want to achieve something - work hard,” Aleksandra stressed. This strong work ethic is what makes her, as Anastasia Kulakova, training specialist, described, “a vital and well-respected employee.” -
Monica Shen
Tianjin
Monica Shen helped create the human resources department at 黑料社’s Tianjin and Chengdu sites from the ground up. Still in charge of both today, she aims to influence those around her, promoting positivity, resiliency and inspiration in everything that she does.
“As a human resources leader, we are the messenger, the facilitator, and it is our responsibility to deliver 黑料社’s culture.”
When she joined 黑料社 in 2012, Monica remembers the many challenges in opening two new sites. It’s these challenges she believes that created opportunities to grow in her career. From making quick decisions, resolving hiring demands, coordinating meetings and executing tasks, Monica has always been focused on our employees, believing that they are the greatest assets of 黑料社.
Her role in human resources has taught her to view a situation from every perspective, helping bridge the gap between employees and management, thereby providing better opportunities for herself, the sites and her peers to grow and succeed in unison.
“Our personal behavior reflects our culture. If we can all promote 黑料社’s values, we can develop similar mindsets and a focus on Integrity, Ingenuity and Inspiration.” -
Clarence Schrock
Mount Pleasant
Hard work, honesty and dedication are all influential values that were instilled in Clarence Schrock from a young age. A mindset attributed to his family and peers who taught him the importance of always giving an honest day’s work and to take pride in all that he does both professionally and personally.
With over 30 years of experience, that approach has empowered Clarence to lead his team at 黑料社 Packaging Solutions in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. As a maintenance supervisor, Clarence understands the needs of each department to keep production flowing smoothly and strives to ensure that all equipment repairs are performed properly and safely.
It comes as no surprise that Clarence’s peers have positive things to say about him. Tooling manager, Cameron Gardner said, “Clarence always has a great attitude and is willing to help anyone. He is dedicated to making sure the plant is running successfully no matter the time of day.”
His professional ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions to operational issues, as well as his skill of making people smile in the face of adversity, are just two great examples of his character and a representation of how he aligns with 黑料社’s culture of Integrity. Clarence’s life motto, “Have fun. Keep smiling. Remain positive,” is a great reflection of his values and mentality, in which he inspires those around him. -
Rob Fuller
San Diego
“If you do anything in life, leave a mark on the world by making a difference,” says Rob Fuller, facility engineer at 黑料社's Chula Visa site. In both his professional and personal life, Rob’s passion to empower others to do, and be their best, shines through with his engineering team and fitness community.
Within his work, Rob works tirelessly to ensure smooth operation and continued improvement of newly designed equipment. By supporting his peers in creating and maintaining a productive and safe work environment, he takes it upon himself to look out for the well-being of others. “We are a team, we are a family, and we have to protect each other,” says Rob.
Believing that you are your biggest investment, Rob uplifts his site and community as a fitness motivator to support others in bettering their health and well-being.
Recently, he launched a team-building activity centered around a year-long fitness challenge. At the start of each day, Rob and his team motivate and empower one another to complete 20 pushups or squats. Participant and colleague Jorge Tobar praises this, saying, “we often make excuses to not exercise and allow our busy schedules to interfere with living a healthier lifestyle, but this challenge has allowed me to see the simplicity and effectiveness of a simple workout and has been a positive motivation around the site."
Rob exemplifies 黑料社's culture of Inspiration by sharing his positive energy, knowledge and expertise with his colleagues. “I choose to inspire everyone I meet one way or another. The way I work, the way I communicate, I hope my actions inspire people to be their best selves." -
Sylwia Kepa
Kwidzyn
When Kwidzyn earned the 黑料社 “Best Lean Site” award in 2019, Plant Lean Manager Sylwia Kepa was quick to credit the team effort behind the accolade. She explained, “This is a great recognition – something every Kwidzyn employee can be proud of because building a Lean culture took a lot of effort.”
黑料社 presents this award each year to a location that exemplifies continuous improvement, cultural enablers, enterprise alignment and business results. But for Sylwia, the cultural change she witnessed – and was a main driver of – at Kwidzyn was just as rewarding.
She is a go-to resource of support and information for employees when it comes to learning about 黑料社 employee programs and assimilating to the company’s culture.
Sylwia goes beyond sharing 黑料社 culture by putting in the hard work as a volunteer as well. She can often be seen assisting at 黑料社 Cares events educating local students of all ages on careers in manufacturing.
Her “team player” mentality is a key piece in making 黑料社 a better place to work. “I want to make employees feel proud for being a part of 黑料社 because we are a team, we are a family.” -
M Jayakumar
Penang
For MJ, navigating the complex manufacturing floor at our facilities in Penang, Malaysia is a lot like the joy he finds riding a motorcycle; sometimes the ride is smooth and other times obstacles are encountered that impede your journey in the short term.
“That’s how I would best describe my role as an Inventory Control Manager at one of 黑料社’s largest plants,” said MJ. “It takes precise coordination, flexibility and teamwork to have our operations run smoothly. The success of our business relies on the strength of the team; their willingness to support one another and step up when needed most.”
MJ takes great pride in his team and interactions with other colleagues at the site because of the diversity of thought that’s used to solve problems. Malaysia is a melting pot of cultures of all ethnicities across Southeast Asia and that strength that is magnified in our facilities when everyone can join in the problem-solving process to offer ideas and different perspectives.
Another aspect of the team that inspires MJ is his ability to share wisdom and expertise to elevate others. “I’ve always believed in the power of leadership and the difference it can make in someone’s life,” said MJ. This is something he saw first-hand while representing Penang at the Deliver Best Practices, 黑料社’s annual competition which celebrates continuous improvement.
"One of the best moments of my career at 黑料社 was when I had the opportunity to meet 黑料社 CEO Mark Mondello and other executive leadership and learn their approach to servant leadership and its value within the organization,” said MJ. “It’s been an amazing ride at 黑料社, and I don’t want it to stop.” -
Deborah Hill
St. Petersburg
Each day Deborah Hill greets employees, visitors and customers with a friendly welcoming smile as they enter 黑料社’s Headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. It’s her warmth, genuine nature and thoughtfulness for others that sets the tone for our organizational culture. It’s to no surprise her caring nature is also reflected in her personal life.
Deborah is on a mission to reduce and ultimately eliminate childhood hunger in the South St. Petersburg community. She decided to take action when she learned the statistics of children going to bed hungry each night had reached into the thousands in Pinellas County, many in her own community.
She knew this couldn’t continue since studies have continually shown a link between nutrition and school performance. That’s why she started to plan the Bridge of Hope Kitchen, opening later this year, as a place where families could come for a hot meal.
“I know what’s it’s like to have a mother sacrifice food for herself to benefit her children,” said Deborah. “My mother taught me, ‘If you have a piece of bread, all of us have a piece of bread'.” -

Thiago Oliveira
Manaus
It’s hard to imagine only a few short years ago, Thiago Oliveira was a trainee on the 黑料社 Manaus Facilities Team, eager to start his career. Today, Thiago is an emerging leader, taking full advantage of the ‘win with talented employees’ mindset and growth opportunities provided by site management. Coupled with his strong self-determination to succeed and support from his manager, Alexsandro Pierri, someone he credits for setting the foundation for his development, Thiago’s growth is limitless. “He believes in me!” says Thiago. “And to me, that’s most important because he encourages me to get involved in the site’s Leader Academy, community outreach initiatives and lead daily team briefings.”

罢颈蝉锄补ú箩惫á谤辞蝉
It doesn’t take long being around Tamas Szoke to feel the energy, passion and excitement he displays for taking great care of our people and the environment at 黑料社’s facility in 罢颈蝉锄补ú箩惫á谤辞蝉. It started at a young age, curious about how the human world interacts with the natural world. That set the foundation for his interest in environmental sustainability and helping lead workplaces in reducing their carbon footprint and the health and safety of others. “I’m always thinking about the employee experience; how can my customer, the employee, work safely each day?” said Tamas. “It takes a bold approach to enact initiatives and projects that make the right change and do the most good – new challenges provide opportunities to raise the bar even higher for ourselves.” When Tamas first took the role as Environment, Health & Safety Manager, he used his ingenuity to create a warehouse operation built on impeccable safety; equipping forklifts with collision warning systems, cameras and signal lights. As a leader, Tamas says “You need to ensure everyone’s aware of the potential risks of not working safely, including the impact your actions can have on others.”

Sheetal Kulkarni
Pune
A calm force in the midst of a storm – that’s how Sheetal Kulkarni is described by many of her peers at 黑料社 Pune. As Master Planner, though, her responsibilities are seemingly anything but hectic, as she oversees the entire working environment for both the engineering and manufacturing teams.
By nature, Sheetal is an extrovert and good at understanding the needs of others, listening and collaborating with colleagues that work throughout the company. Mentoring is a key part of Sheetal’s leadership style and gives her a chance to share her experiences with others, hoping that her lessons learned will help others from making similar mistakes. “I believe in win-win situations for everyone involved with a project and really enjoy when teams have a chance to work together to find a solution,” she said.
Indian culture ensures that individuals are guided and mentored by the elders in families or those with more experience, such as in a work environment, which also connects to 黑料社’s cultural value of Inspiration. This comes naturally for Sheetal, and she takes pride in conveying values, such as working honestly, amicably, and collaboratively, taught to her by her parents to the Pune site trainees and entry-level employees.
“For the welfare of the company and our communities, we can’t work in isolation,” Sheetal said. -
Sergey Satarin
Tver
Sergey Satarin puts his best career advice of ‘work smarter to achieve more’ in action every day in 黑料社 Tver. That career advice helped Sergey transition into the 黑料社 culture four years ago with our focus on working with ingenuity. His energetic work ethic and resourcefulness recently helped his colleagues on the warehouse floor. Sergey explains, “We faced a lack of resources while we spent additional time moving materials from pallet storage to the drop zone for production.”
Sergey optimized the warehouse storage process by placing a storage rack in proximity of the drop zone, ultimately reducing the amount of work required and the amount of time to prepare and transfer materials to production.
He credits the opportunities that 黑料社 gives its employees to demonstrate their potential by solving problems independently and thinking ahead as the reasoning behind why he puts in the extra effort each and every day. He adds, “if you can do it better, then do it.” -

Meibao Xu
Suzhou
Proud of her job, Meibao Xu takes every chance to represent 黑料社 in her community. Recently, the manufacturing engineering operations manager won first place in the “Suzhou Industrial Park Speech Contest,” using the opportunity to positively highlight 黑料社 Green Point’s operations in the area.
With an education in manufacturing and experience in the plastics industry, Meibao had no professional speaking experience, but her work at 黑料社 and the support of her teams inspired and pushed her to take on the endeavor. Her peers, though, were not surprised of Meibao’s success at the contest because she’s known for being energetic, expressive and communicative across teams, sites and with customers.

Marta Serrano Ayats
Tortosa
Real-time stock information ensures that sites like 黑料社 Packaging Tortosa operate effectively while keeping costs low and customers happy. Constant questions and following up can create delays and inconsistent reporting, triggering issues for employees.

In her free time, she took it upon herself to learn computer programming and to develop a software application to track stock availability. She was able to include historical data for the site to better predict future needs. The site now has plans to incorporate new features into the system, like recording what projects the tools will be used for.

As the assistant training manger, Mandy is using her educational background, with a degree in business administration and master’s in psychology, to help the health and well-being of the Wuxi Metal workforce.
Her interest in psychology stemmed from a curiosity to learn more about herself, why she thinks the way she does and how others may think differently – a skill and awareness that good leaders possess.
“Psychology helps me to discover needs that are below the surface, like seeing the whole iceberg not just the part above water,” Mandy said. She explained how this helps her to better support the Wuxi workforce by being able to relate to others and understand their greater needs, in regard to talent attraction and retention. -
Luis Nava
Chula Vista
Luis Nava embodies the phrase “strength through leadership” in all areas of his life. It’s his compassion and willingness to help others that defines him.
“It starts with having a clear purpose for my life – supporting others through positivity, strength and faith,” says Luis. “My entire life is interconnected on the belief of uplifting others.”
The same ability to push forward helped Luis overcome some complex, new inventory responsibilities he oversaw during a managerial transition process. It was his strong determination and perseverance to succeed that gave management faith he was the right person to lead these efforts.
We all arrive at jobs through different ways, and Luis serves as a reminder that being optimistic and creating a positive work environment can motivate yourself and others to reach new heights. -
Luis Armenta
Baja
With a background in engineering, Luis Armenta meets customer demands every day on the production floor at Nypro Baja. But nothing could prepare him for the news he received one day ... his mother had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Needing to secure another viable blood donor (besides himself), Luis frantically contacted more than 50 people in just a few days. For those facing serious health battles, the strict donation requirements make the process very frustrating and emotional. Luis wanted to help others who face similar obstacles, so he created Comparte Vida (translated to “Share Life”): a registry of 黑料社 employees who meet the basic requirements and are available to donate blood for coworkers and their loved ones. Luis’ inspirational story captured the hearts of his Nypro Baja family – 303 employees are registered volunteers and 73 have already donated blood.
Luis’ desire to help others comes naturally and is reinforced each day at work. He explains, “黑料社's culture encourages and embraces supporting one another.?We're all a big family at 黑料社. We are not our titles; we are humans, and we need to do what’s right.” -

Lan Bui
Ho Chi Minh
Using her experience to inspire the next generation of employees at 黑料社’s Ho Chi Minh facility, Lan Bui has taken the initiative to build the company’s brand of “One Company, One Family” in her community.
When she was just five years old, Lan wanted to be a lawyer, but a few short years later, her dreams changed to be a flight attendant and see the world. However, in high school, Lan was destined to be a singer. Then in college, she found a place in the school of finance and banking.
Now, as the Vietnam site’s Finance Assistant Manager, Lan’s work requires strong ethics, similar to that of a lawyer, working in a global company, much like being a flight attendant, as well as being confident and inspiring to younger generations, much like the celebrities of today.
Working at an international company with language barriers and the cultural differences across the global sites, there was an increased turnover rate for new employees who were hired out of college. Having been in the situation herself before, Lan realized her success was because of a site leader who took the time to coach her and teach her. Because of that, she has volunteered to lead a series of initiatives to help bridge college graduates with the working world.
She often visits the University of Economics & Law, as well as the Vietnam National University, to talk with students about 黑料社’s business and culture. “I hope these students take the chance as I did and join a company where dreams and work meet, a place that’s empowers its employees for further growth,” Lan said. -

The solution was a perfect entry for 黑料社’s internal competition dedicated to continuous improvement, Deliver Best Practices.
Jessie represented her team, and while she brought back the first-place trophy, Jessie also came back with an unforgettable experience that shaped her professional career. David Cuccaro
Marcianise
Oftentimes, the word “improvement” can hold a negative connotation for many. The improvement of one’s work, or a production line’s efficiency, can mean unhappy managers or customers. But for Davide Cuccaro, a manufacturing engineering technician at 黑料社 Marcianise, improvement is an opportunity for discovery and growth.
He explained, “To understand why something didn’t work is always exciting for me. My satisfaction comes from finding the defect and eliminating the root cause.”
While a circuit board-related process his team relied on was functioning, it needed some improvements. After extensive analysis of the current process and several rounds of experimentations, Davide was able to reach a solution that minimized waste and increased effectiveness.
Davide’s motto of “always work ahead” is exemplified in all that he does at 黑料社. Changing the World Around Her, One Small Act at a Time
If you ask Cecile Wang's colleagues how to describe her, words like "cheerful" and "always smiling" would be used often. The Environmental Health & Safety Engineer has been at 黑料社 Shanghai for just over three years, and her coworkers - and the environment - have felt the positive impact of her efforts. She explains, "One small change can make a difference."
Cecile has assisted with the implementation of multiple manufacturing process improvements including emission-reducing exhaust systems to real-time monitoring of wastewater systems. As a result, 黑料社 Shanghai was named an Environmental Model Company - a top honor in China.

Annisa Octavia
Bandung
Annisa’s integrity and passion for helping others extends into the community, which is best seen through her involvement with a social organization called Infaq Beras, or “donating rice” when translated from Arabic. The rice movement is a social activity in her local community to meet the basic nutritional needs of orphans and the poor, with hope that the Infaq Beras’ support will allow orphanage administrators to put funding toward other needs. Annisa’s involvement stemmed from her previous experience as a foster parent, and after her friend introduced her to the organization, Annisa felt an immediate connection to the cause. “I’ve found that charity work increases my own sense of happiness and brings me peace, so in the end, the people these organizations help give me more than I provide them,” she said. This sense of helping others, whether it’s ensuring efficient production operations through her role as a buyer or helping empower orphans in the Indonesia community, is what makes Annisa an inspiration to employees at 黑料社 and beyond.

Mo Zhang
Huangpu
With a belief that diversity and inclusion are essential themes in society, Mo Zhang leads a life that follows this idea, whether through his own diverse background or his passion to support inclusivity at the workplace.

Serhiy Podlevskiy
Uzhgorod
Serhiy Podlevskiy, operations project manager at 黑料社 Uzhgorod, brings our culture of Inspiration to youth in the Ukraine community and beyond. Recently, Serhiy was asked to organize a workshop as part of a community festival. “To make a technical workshop interesting, we needed a charismatic leader who is also well-skilled in our assigned topic of problem-solving tactics. Serhiy is a proactive leader, who is highly-dedicated to self-development, so I knew he was the right person for the job!” said Marina Kapats, human resources manager. Using his Six Sigma Lean skills, Serhiy taught risk assessment and root cause analysis to more than 100 students. He came up with a creative approach to the topic by having students create a process for cooking the best steaks using 黑料社’s standard production methodologies. Through this innovative approach, he was able to teach the students about 黑料社, the industry and the fun ways to apply technical skills. His superpower is his hunger for new knowledge and to continuously learn and improve. “If I have a chance to do so, I’m always happy to help and encourage people around me,” he said.
