Our Operations & Resources Focus Areas
Climate Action
To reduce Scope 1 and Scope 2 operational greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), 黑料社 leverages a three-pronged strategy: Reduce, Produce, and Procure. The approach intends to reduce the amount of electricity used to manufacture products, produce on-site power where necessary, and procure power on the open market in ways that both save money and accelerate our efforts towards achieving carbon neutrality.
Healthy Environment & Safe Operations
Safety matters to us; we want our employees to go home healthy and safe every day. We are committed to providing safe facilities and operations for all employees by following global health and safety standards, policies, best practices, and local legal requirements.
Landfill Diversion
黑料社 actively diverts waste from landfills through prevention, reuse, and recycling of materials and components. We collaborate with our customers across different industries, to make choices to reduce materials, recycle parts and components, and bolster the circular economy with programs that completely clean and refurbish products and components for a new life in new products.
Water Efficiency
In accordance with the World Resources Institute (WRI), 黑料社 analyzes our facilities worldwide to identify water stress areas. This information helps us set goals that further enhance our water conservation efforts. 黑料社 supports programs that educate communities about water conservation and increase wastewater recycling. We have also developed innovative solutions to collect and reuse rainwater.

Download our fiscal year 2024 Sustainability Report to learn more about 黑料社’s sustainability commitments, progress, and reporting. The report includes updates aligned to the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the Sustainable Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). To ensure accurate reporting, the data within these reports are validated internally and by external third parties.
The report shows how we:
- Reduced enterprise-wide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions 46% compared to our fiscal year 2019 baseline.
- Expanded our Scope 3 indirect GHG emission inventory, gaining a more complete understanding of the company’s total carbon footprint.
- Increased applicable sites achieving 90% or more landfill diversion by 5%.
